About me

I am a recent computer science and physics graduate based in Toronto looking for a software engineering/development position.

I have ~1.5 years (16 months) of full-stack experience working as a software engineer intern at Security Compass on the Reporting team for SD Elements. During my time there I primarily worked with TypeScript, React, Django, Cube, and PostgreSQL.

In my spare time I like to play video games 🎮 (recently: Katamari Reroll, Harvest Moon, Valheim, Pokemon Scarlet), learn new languages (in the past I've studied French, Spanish and Japanese), and play guitar 🎸

Experience

Software Engineer Intern @ Security Compass

• Worked on a scrum team with other developers, designers, product managers and QA to build and maintain reporting/analytics functionalities for SD Elements, following agile methodologies
• Developed reporting API endpoints using Django Rest Framework, Cube and PostgreSQL used directly by clients as well as internally to power application-wide reporting
• Created an analytics dashboard builder using React, Typescript, Cube and Django REST Framework, allowing users to create custom dashboards and widgets to visualize the security health of their applications in a digestible format
• Built out a suite of automated CI/CD end-to-end tests using Cypress and Cucumber, greatly reducing regression testing time per release

  A full-stack web app that helps you keep your houseplants alive built with React, Django and PostgreSQL.

• Nuit Blanche Scraper

  A Python/Selenium scraper that grabs exhibit information from the Toronto 2023 Nuit Blanche website and preps it to be imported into Google My Maps. Used to generate the map below (click on an icon to see get the exhibit's details and directions):
